Hey Guys!
Ok well I know it's been a while since i've updated the blogsite.
That's mainly because I made a decision to step away from the markets and work on my approach to the markets while simultaneously earning the Canadian Investment Manager Designation.
Over the summer i've read and ABSOLUTELY reccomend the following books.
The Warren Buffet Way - Robert Hagstrom (Describes the investment mentality of the best business owner of all time.)
Learn to Earn - Peter Lynch (Great book written for those that have no idea what the markets are....you can skip the first 90 odd pages as he's only talking about the history of capitalism).
The Intelligent Investor - Benjamin Grahmn (Quite possibly the most important book on security analysis ever written. As far as i'm concerned, this book changed my life and was the definitive factor in my decision not to pursue acceptance into Law school.)
Security Analysis - Grahmn and Dodd (Another classic, slightly more complicated than the intelligent investor but nonetheless important)
Later on this fall, I'll blog a list of more recommended books. I have a list that I want to get through and I'd like to finish them all before posting a reccomendation on them. Many of them are more advanced security alalysis books written by proven money managers.
